Three Sisters and a Mixer Bakery and Catering was established in 2004 by Andrea Travis along with her two sisters and her son Paul Moore (the Mixer). In March of 2009, Three Sisters and a Mixer Bakery and Catering was purchased by Walter and Daneen Smith, who bring over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. Walter, the new owner and Executive Chef of Three Sisters and a Mixer Bakery and Catering, brings with him the experience of working in casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to southern California. Walter has also served as the chef for the Mississippi Governor’s Mansion, where he fed the King and Queen of Spain, B.B. King and several other celebrities and royalty. In 2005 Walter was involved with disaster relief feeding on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Three Sisters and a Mixer Bakery and Catering will continue offering the same food and traditions that the original owners began of fresh baked personalized cakes, pies, cookies, and casseroles, but will also expand their catering offerings, from tail gating parties, back yard BBQs, weddings, reunions, holiday meals to corporate events.
